Job description
The Occupational Therapy at Maxxima are currently recruiting for a qualified and experienced Band 5/6 Occupational Therapist in Kelty . If successful, you will be working full-time or part-time hours from Monday to Friday. Previous experience of working within the NHS is desirable for this role.
Position: Medical
Banding: 5/6
Location: Kelty
Hours: 8am - 4.30pm
Duration: 3 months (possible extension)
Essential skills:
• HCPC registered
• Experience of working within the NHS
• Relevant qualification in Occupational Therapy
• Medical Experience
• A variety of experience in general hospital/other health/Social care settings Experience in multidisciplinary team working Knowledge Demonstrate a clear knowledge of the scope, defining features and main areas of occupational therapy. A working knowledge of core theories, principles and concepts within OT as applied in a range of clinical area. Knowledge of the Practice behaviours required for standards within of O.T. code of conduct Ability to utilise core skills and demonstrate clinical reasoning Knowledge and application of standardised assessments Understanding of OT outcome measures relevant to clinical area
