The Occupational Therapy team at Maxxima are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Community Occupational Therapist in Blackburn, Lancashire. The successful Occupational Therapist will be working 4 days per week (30 hours). This role is available to start ASAP; the starting pay rate for this job is £22 per hour.

The Community Rehabilitation and ESD Service are looking to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic and forward thinking Occupational Therapist to join our service. The role will involve The role will involve assessing patients, planning treatment plans and coordinating support and equipment to meet the patient’s needs; .working across both rehabilitation and ESD. Promoting continuity of care into the community setting and also working with the wider MDT to support long term rehabilitation pathways for patients in their own home’s to support, increase or maintain their independence.
We are looking for a therapist with excellent communication skills who can demonstrate sound clinical assessment skills who has the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team. The role will involve a holistic approach to encompassing physical rehabilitation and refer to wider community services.
You will improve experience for patients and their families. We promote continuity of care for patients in the community setting. Supporting patients following falls and providing support for the Integrated Neighbourhood Team (INT).

- Acute Occupational Therapy experience
- Relevant qualification in Occupational Therapist
