Maxxima Nursing Team is currently seeking an experienced ODP or Anaesthetic & Recovery Nurse to fill a full time (40 hours per week) role over 4 long days including weekends with a Private cosmetics company based in West London. The ideal candidate will have an expert understanding of anaesthetics and recovery.

Our client is one of the largest providers of plastic surgery in London, they offer a wide range of different procedures. The clinic is based in a busy area of West London, with great transport links.

The pay rate for this ODP or Anaesthetic & Recovery Nurse is £37,000 - £38,000 per annum (experience dependent) and is a permanent position.

You will be responsible and accountable for providing high quality clinical assistance to the Anaesthetist during surgical procedures. You will also be responsible for assessing, developing, implementing and evaluating programmes of care for patients undergoing surgical procedures as well as providing clinical supervision on a day to day basis to junior nursing staff acting as a mentor or assessor. You will need to prepare the anaesthetic room according to the individual needs of the patient and Anaesthetist i.e. drug preparation/administration, IV cannulation, IV fluids and preparation and insertion of invasive monitoring as required.

Requirements of the ODP / Anaesthetic & Recovery Nurse role:

- You must be HPC registered ODP or NMC registered nurse.
- You must have at least 12 months post registration experience
- You must have a degree level qualification within the speciality you are applying
- You must be physically able to adapt to the environment including the potential to stand for long periods as well as react in an emergency within a confined area.
