Maxxima’s permanent team are recruiting for an Oncology/Haematology Pharmacist to work in South London. This is an exciting opportunity to join a private hospital rated as 'outstanding' by the CQC, that offers exceptional treatment across a multitude of acute and complex care and have use of the latest technologies and healthcare innovations.

Working as an Oncology/Haematology Pharmacist, you will be joining an experienced specialist cancer and preparative services pharmacy team.

Location: South London
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time (37.5 Hours)
Hours: Monday - Friday, with weekend and on-call working 1 in 4 weeks

On a typical day you will:
  • Participate in the delivery, management and development of a high quality, proactive, cost effective, safe and responsive patient-centric systemic anti-cancer (SACT) pharmacy service
  • Work closely with (and at times deputise for) the Lead Pharmacist and other members of our multi-disciplinary teams to ensure that our patients have access to the very latest developments in oncology and haematology medicines.

What will you need to succeed in this role?
  • MPharm or equivalent (essential)
  • Registered with General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) (essential)
  • Post graduate diploma/masters in clinical pharmacy or equivalent (essential)
  • Experience in delivering a clinical pharmacy service to wards (essential)
  • Previous experience of working in Oncology (essential – minimum 2 years) Practical experience in an Aseptic Production Unit & GMP (essential)
  • Mosaiq, BD Cato, Meditech knowledge (desirable)
