Maxxima have recently partnered with  one of the UK’s specialist provider of diagnostic and healthcare solutions. We are currently looking for an experienced Optometrist, who can provide overall support for the clinical leadership of the service. This post will require you to travel to across the following locations Addlestone, Cobham, Epsom, Leadenhall, Putney and Sutton. 

About the role:
As an Optometrist, you will be involved in a mixture of branch support with additional responsibilities contributing to the learning and development of our practice teams. You will act as an ambassador for the business, leading by example.

Your main responsibilities as an Optometrist:

• Provide clinical cover within the practice
• Be a unique voice between branches to ensure clinical standards are maintained
• Provide induction to new starters to the business
• Conduct experience days as part of our interview process for new staff members

What we are looking for in an Optometrist:

•  A full UK driving license and be comfortable commuting to the following practices Addlestone, Epsom, Cobham, Sutton, Leadenhall and Putney
• Commercially aware, and happy to offer the customer what they need
• Dedicated to exemplary patient service to ensure patient satisfaction
• Excellent communication skills, with empathy and patience
• Previous experience working in a similar role
• Experience in using Slit Lamp Microscope, Keratometer, Ophthalmoscope, Retinoscope, Optomap, Pulsair or Goldmann tonometer, Henson Compact 6000 or the Henson 7000 and NIDEK Retina DuoScan Photo OCT
