Optometrist - Mobile (South-West) - Permanent

Maxxima have recently partnered with  one of the UK’s specialist provider of diagnostic and healthcare solutions. We are currently looking for an experienced Mobile Optometrist, who can provide overall support for the clinical leadership of the service. This post is based in the South-West.

As an Optometrist, you will be part of our team, providing our customers with top tier treatment removing the inconvenience from eye examinations, evolving it into an informative, consultative and pleasant experience.

Your main responsibilities as an Optometrist:

• Providing clinical cover
• Being a unique voice between branches to ensure clinical standards are maintained
• Inducting new starters into the business
• Conducting experience days as part of our interview process for new staff members
• Supporting the creation of modules for our online learning system in partnership with the Learning and Development team
• Providing on-going training and support to our existing Optometrists

What we are looking for in an Optometrist:

•  A full UK driving license and be comfortable commuting to the following practices; Poole, Christchurch, Southampton, Chandlers Ford, Winchester, Burnham-On-Sea and Andover
• Qualified Optometrist & fully Registered with the GOC
• Experience in using Slit Lamp Microscope, Keratometer, Ophthalmoscope, Retinoscope, Optomap, Pulsair or Goldmann tonometer, Henson Compact 6000 or the Henson 7000 and NIDEK Retina DuoScan Photo OCT
