Maxxima are currently recruiting for a Paramedic to fill a full-time role in Jersey. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-year post paramedic registration.

The States of Jersey Ambulance service require 4 Ambulance technicians/paramedics to join their team for the duration of 6 months with review for extension if services are required for longer. The accommodation will be paid as a 50/50 split between the locum and the client.

In this role you will respond as a member of the ambulance crew to the needs of those who require urgent or emergency medical assistance (999 calls). To provide primary medical care and treatment in order to prevent further deterioration, promote recovery and prolong life.

The pay rate for this Paramedic role is between £24.00-£28.00 (Umbrella) depending on level of experience. The role is due to start 6th April 2021.

Requirements of this Paramedic vacancy:

  • Must be a fully registered HCPC Paramedic
  • Must have C1 driving license
  • Must be blue light driver trained
  • Must be willing to have/or already have enhanced DBS
  • Must be have evidence of up to date CPD
  • All staff are required to provide their own uniform and PPE

Please note the service will be looking at submitting exemption forms which means the locum can work right away pending the day 0 swab result, when not on shift they will be required to follow the Government of Jersey Self – Isolation guidelines.
