Maxxima's Social Work team are currently recruiting for Independent Reviewing Officers/Child Protection Chair Officers to fill a full-time job role in Coventry

The roles will be based within Social Services, who are looking for Independent Reviewing Officers/Child Protection Chair Officers to start as soon as possible on a full-time basis. The pay rate for this role is Negotiable

Requirements and details of this vacancy

Coventry Quality Assurance Service requires 1 x FTE Independent Reviewing Officer and 1 x FTE Child Protection Chair Person to provide short term cover pending permanent recruitment.

The Independent Reviewing Officer's role will be to chair LAC Reviews, quality assure care planning and to raise robust challenge where it is considered that services and interventions for children and young people in care are either not of the highest quality or are unlikely to result in positive outcomes.
The CP Chair's role would be to chair Child Protection Conferences, to quality assure and scrutinise Child Protection Plans and to raise robust challenge where it is considered that services and interventions for children and young people in care are either not of the highest quality or are unlikely to result in positive outcomes.
