Maxxima’s permanent team are recruiting for a Senior 1 Rotational Radiographer to work in North West London. This is an exciting opportunity to join a private hospital that has consistently provided care and treatment in London for over 30 years, offering access to leading consultants from London's top teaching hospitals and contemporary treatment, with several highly specialised units including fertility, gastroenterology medicine and orthopaedics and surgery.

Working as a Senior 1 Rotational Radiographer, you will rotate in CT, General X-ray and Interventional Radiology.

Location: North West London
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time (37.5 Hours)
Hours: Will need to participate in on call, out of hours and weekend shifts.

On a typical day you will:
  • Skilfully provide accurate diagnostic imaging services by operating Imaging equipment in accordance with operational procedures and ensuring routine quality assurance procedures are carried out.
  • Conduct oneself professionally at all times and achieve and maintain high standards of practice within the department practicing high levels of customer care.
  • Work within a multi-disciplinary team to maximise clinical efficiency.
  • Provide a portable service to wards and departments.
  • Rotate between areas as required including CT, Xray, theatres and interventional radiology. This includes participating in on call, out of hours and weekend shifts.
  • Assist in staff and students with orientation and training.
  • Ensure all equipment faults and malfunctions are recorded and reported to the correct parties.

What will you need to succeed in this role?
  • Degree within Radiography
  • HCPC Registered
  • Extensive post qualification experience
  • CT scanning, General X-ray and Interventional Radiology experience
  • Diploma of the Society of Radiographers’ (or above)
