The Physiotherapy team at Maxxima are currently recruiting for a qualified and experienced Band 6 Physiotherapist in Shrewsbury. If successful, you will be working full-time or part-time hours from Monday to Friday. Previous experience of working within the NHS is desirable for this role.

Location: Redwoods Centre, Shrewsbury, SY3 8DS
Hours: Part time (3 days per week)
Duration: 12 weeks ongoing

Job description:
The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of specialist Physiotherapy assessments, evidence based interventions and the evaluation of outcome measures within the mental health acute inpatient service. The post holder will work across a range of inpatient Mental Health wards, responding in a timely manner to referrals and offering the opportunity to work with a diverse service user group including older adults and adults.  The post holder will be expected to use a wide variety of Physiotherapy skills to assess and treat those with complex physical and mental health needs, while liaising closely with service users/carers, the multidisciplinary team and a range of partnership agencies.
 
Essential skills:
  • HCPC registered
  • Experience of working within the NHS
  • Experience in Mental Health physiotherapy required
  • Relevant qualification in Physiotherapy
