Maxxima's Social Work team are currently recruiting for Children's Social Workers to fill job roles in Lancashire

The role will be based within Children and Families Services who are looking for Qualified Social Workers to start as soon as possible on a full-time basis.

The pay rate for these roles is between £24 and £37 per hour, and the roles will initially be a three-month contract, with the likelihood of extension.

We are looking for experienced Children and Families Social Workers to work in the following busy services

3 FULL TIME QSW 1 PART TIME QSW Two full-time Social Workers. These are within LCC's Fostering and Adoption Recruitment and Assessment Service, working on the Placement with Family and Friends (PWFF) Team. The team is responsible for the recruitment and assessment of family and friends as connected foster carers and special guardians. The main role of an agency social worker within this post will be undertaking assessments of connected carers, Regulation 24 carers, and special guardianship assessments. PWFF team Social Workers support and supervise Regulation 24 carers during the assessment period and present carers to fostering panel. The successful candidates will manage a caseload of dual assessments that will be prioritised based on the needs of the service and the children who require placements. Pay rate starting at £24 (LTD) per hour, any uplifted rate will be determined by experience within the role applied for and determined at interview.
