Maxxima's Social Work team are currently recruiting for Adults Social Workers to fill job roles in East Riding

The roles will be based within an Adults Team, who are looking for Qualified Social Workers to start as soon as possible on a full-time basis. The pay rate for this role is up to £23 per hour, and the role will initially be a three-month contract, with the likelihood of extension.

We are looking for experienced Adult Social Workers with experience of working in a busy Statutory service

* A minimum of 3 years post-qualifying experience in adult social care and / or adult safeguarding * HCPC registered * Evidence of continued professional development * An excellent command of English both verbal and written * Effective communication and engagement skills with adults and their families / carers / advocates * Experience of effective partnership working and support improved working relationships with partner agencies * Experience of undertaking an adult safeguarding enquiry under S42 of The Care Act 2014 and the promotion of Making Safeguarding Personal * Experience of completing complex mental capacity assessments and best interest decisions * Experience of working as part of a busy team * Experience of working as part of a busy duty system * Ability to provide reflective supervision to less experienced team members * Ability of prioritise workloads and competing work demands * Ability to enthuse and empower others * Knowledge of relevant legislation e.g. The Care Act, The Mental Capacity Act, Data Protection etc. and rules governing confidentiality in relation to ICT * Eligible to work in the UK * A full UK driving license * Experience of working with service information systems e.g. AIS
