Maxxima's Social Work team are currently recruiting for Adults Social Workers to fill job roles in Herefordshire

The roles will be based within an Adults Team, who are looking for Qualified Social Workers to start as soon as possible on a full-time basis. The pay rate for this role up to £30 per hour, and the role will initially be a three-month contract, with the likelihood of extension.

We need support from an experienced Locum social worker to assist us for up to 3 months. (possibility of extension may be available) Prior experience and confidence with Adult safeguarding enquiries and investigations is essential and should be evidenced in applications. Herefordshire Adults and Communities are developing adult social care services in keeping with the new responsibilities under the Care Act April 2014. We are looking for enthusiastic, forward thinking practitioners to join us in this opportunity to enhance the existing services. You will need to be a qualified and experienced social worker, registered with HCPC. You will be expected to have a solid knowledge base within adult social work and strong interpersonal and organisational skills with a developed understanding of social care practice and legislation. You will have the ideas, values and knowledge that ensure that our responses are person centred, strength based, safe and effective with a commitment to achieving the best outcomes for the individuals you support. You will work on your own initiative in order to meet the requirements of the assessment and review process. We are interested in staff with experience in mental health, learning disability, physical disability and older people.
