Maxxima’s Social Work team are currently recruiting for Children’s Social Workers to fill job roles in Rotherham
The role will be based within Children and Families Services who are looking for Qualified Social Workers to start as soon as possible on a full-time basis. 
The pay rate for these roles is up to £31 per hour, and the roles will initially be a three-month contract, with the likelihood of extension.
We are looking for experienced Children and Families Social Workers to work in the following busy service
The post holder will provide a local and personal social care service for children and families in need and contribute to the range of voluntary and statutory social work activities, including carrying out assessments and including within court proceedings. The post is within locality services. Key Duties/Areas of Responsibility 1. Carry out investigations and planned assessments, providing written evidence based reports for complex cases 2. Provide ongoing advice and support to children and families, including key worker responsibility for at risk children 3. Make sure that plans, agreements and reviewing and monitoring arrangements are made in child care cases, including those with child protection 4. Be involved in the development of preventative intervention strategies and support services 5. Develop links with other agencies in the locality 6. Identify client needs and be involved with others in examining strategies to meet needs
