Maxxima's Social Work team are currently recruiting for Qualified Social Workers to fill job roles in Wiltshire

The roles will be based within an Adults Hospital Team, who are looking for Qualified Social Workers to start as soon as possible on a full-time basis. The pay rate for this role is £34 per hour, and the role will initially be a three-month contract, with the likelihood of extension.

Wiltshire Council is looking for is looking for flexible and highly motivated experienced Social Workers to support the hospital teams over winter. As a Peripatetic Social Worker, you will work across all hospital adult social work teams to maintain flow and cover for existing staff taking A/L, cover sickness etc. You will need to demonstrate a proficiency to work across all areas acute settings county wide. Be a positive role model to colleagues. You will be able to provide examples of your ability to think and work creatively and develop environments where others are encouraged and supported to explore new ways of working. In addition, to demonstrate these skills and experiences, you must be highly adaptive and able to build good working relationships quickly in order to make a successful contribution to the teams you will work in. To be a success in these challenging roles, effective communication, flexibility and strong IT skills are essential. You should have professional experience of working with different agencies, service users and families. You should have a thorough working knowledge of the relevant policy and legislation which underpins the hospital social work role. You will be able to demonstrate enthusiasm and passion in ensuring safe discharges from hospital.
