|Maxxima's Social Work team are currently recruiting for Adults Social Workers to fill job roles in Solihull

The roles will be based within an Adults Team, who are looking for Qualified Social Workers to start as soon as possible on a full-time basis. The pay rate for this role is up to £25 per hour, and the role will initially be a three-month contract, with the likelihood of extension.

We are looking for experienced Adult Social Workers with experience of working in a busy Statutory service

We are looking for a dynamic, highly skilled social worker who is well experienced in working in a hospital setting. A good understanding of the Care Act and working in a strength-based approach is an advantage. We are looking for someone who is able to learn quickly, work on their own initiative and manage the regular allocation of new work to support people to be safely discharged into an appropriate setting. In return, we will offer supervision and a good supportive team. There are 3 posts available, all of which will be expected to be based at Heartlands Hospital Birmingham. We are located in the same building as the discharge hub and are actively working together with health to reduce the number of delayed transfers of care.

Staff would need to be based at Heartlands Hospital, and be able to take on new work as and when it comes into the team. Staff would be required to provide regular updates on cases in order for the management team to update the tracker and attend the daily board meetings with the right information.
