Maxxima is currently seeking a experienced QC Control Technician in London

The salary for this role is approximately £30k per annum

Requirements of the QC Microbiology Technician role:

All applicants must have a relevant experience of working within a Microbiology Laboratory. Candidates must have a Valid Working Holiday Visa, Ancestry Visa or EU Citizenship.

Ideally the candidates will have experience of the following:
*Ensures all testing is completed as per Environmental Monitoring programme.
*Adheres to aseptic technique when working in controlled facilities as well as QC laboratories.
*Performs analysis of the environmental monitoring samples.
*Updates the EM results database.
*Maintains QC facilities to meet GMP requirements, conducts necessary checks to support any health authority, customer/stakeholder site visits.
*Supports QC testing of materials and products as required.
*Records and reports out of specification results and implements corrective actions as applicable.
*Undertakes analysis as required to support process investigations or process qualification and validation exercises.
*Operates and maintains laboratory equipment, ensuring all equipment is calibrated and suitable for use as applicable.
*Handles or disposes of hazardous materials safely and in accordance with procedures.
*Ensures the laboratory paperwork and operations are fully GMP compliant.
*As part of the Quality Control team, maintains the flow of information, ensuring appropriate communications are passed and information folders are maintained with most recent version/ communication.
*Ensures all training is undertaken in a timely manner as required for each activity.
*Supports maintaining the Quality Management System and control of documents, assuring the data integrity of all data produced.
*Supports with all reasonable managerial requests and ad-hoc tasks.
*Works in a team manner with Manufacturing personnel.
