Job description
Maxxima has recently partnered with one of the UK’s largest specialist provider of diagnostic and healthcare solutions, Inhealth. We are currently looking for an experiencedRadiography Clinical Educator, who can provide overall support for the clinical leadership of the service. This post is Field based; it is essential for you to hold a valid full UK driving licence to undertake national travel across London, Peterborough and surrounding areas.
About the role:
As a Radiography Clinical Educator, you will support the PET-CT services throughout the UK, expanding to incorporate MRI and CT services. You will also work collaboratively with the management team and Clinical Leads for Education, and provide professional leadership for our teams of Clinical Technologists, Radiographers, Healthcare Support Workers and Nurses across the organisation.
What we are looking for in a Radiography Clinical Educator :
Experience working in the PET-CT, MRI, CT environment and knowledge of all diagnostic procedures and pathways
A qualified radiographer
Must be a car driver & Hold a valid full UK driving licence
Experience of working with governance data and improving quality
Experience handling and dispensing of radioactive isotopes
Experienced in using imaging equipment (MRI, PET-CT, CT, Ultrasound)
Experience working at a similar management level within the healthcare setting and being involved in the attraction, recruitment, selection and retention process
Knowledge of EA, IRMER, HSE and CQC requirements
Knowledge of infection control, Health and Safety and controlled drugs management
