Maxxima's nursing team are currently recruiting for a Registered General Nurse to fill a full-time role in Wigan. The ideal candidates will have a significant understanding of healthcare practices within the NHS.

This RGN role will require you to work in a General ward this is where people are transferred from the intensive care unit to a general ward when medical staff decide that they no longer need such close observation and one-to-one care. For many people, this move is an important step in their progress from being critically ill to recovering this means you need to make this transition as smooth as possible. Also, there will be critical care nurse roles imported into the day to day tasks, A critical care nurse provides specialized care to patients in the intensive care units of a hospital that treat the most severely ill or injured patients, caring for the daily needs of those who are the most vulnerable. You will need to perform effectively in this position, critical care professionals require specialized training.

This role will be adhoc shift work and block booking meaning days, nights, long days and weekends need to be available.

The pay rate for this RGN is £26.00-£35.00 per hour (Umbrella).

Requirements of this RGN vacancy:
- All applicants must be RGN qualified and have an updated NMC Registration.
- Experience in a ward is preferred.
- Must be able to demonstrate sensitivity towards the specific situation.
