Maxxima have an exciting new permanent position for a Registered General Nurse to work within the field of endoscopy. We are currently seeking a Registered general nurse to fill a full time 36 hours Monday-Sunday permanent role based in Peterborough, East England. The ideal candidate will have experience or an interest in the field of endoscopy.
Your role as a Registered general nurse will be to work in the endoscopy unit provide a safe care environment including preparing and clearing up rooms and equipment with particular reference to infection control and safe working environment for patients, visitors and staff.
As a specialist endoscopy nurse, you will be required to carry out pre, peri and post endoscopy care for patients, whilst experience is desired, full training will be provided. You will be required to maintain a professional profile and develop skills, knowledge and competencies adhering to the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and the organisations policies and procedures.
Our client is a leading provider of GP-led NHS gastroenterology services. The unit is based in Peterborough, in the heart of rural east England close to Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire and Rutland.
The pay rate for this Registered General Nurse job is £23'000-£30'000 (based on experience), pro rata per annum and is a permanent contract due to start ASAP. You will be offered a fantastic benefits package.
Requirements of the Registered General Nurse role:
- You must be a Registered general Nurse with a current NMC pin
- You must have endoscopy experience or a desire to work in this setting (training will be provided)
- You must be able to demonstrate an understanding of the Primary Care agenda and the ability to provide high quality patient care
- You must have a flexible attitude to work and work hours to meet service needs
