Job description

Maxxima has a new opportunity for a Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist to fulfil a Saturdays only role based at the Royal Berkshire Hospital. 

The role is available to start ASAP on an ongoing basis and the pay rate is between £26.00 to £34.00 an hour dependent on experience. 

The role is to provide speech and language therapy to children with complex communication needs in association with Autism Spectrum Disorders. The overall purpose is to provide a diagnosis to children showing traits of Autism Spectrum Disorder. A high level of knowledge, skill and experience are required, along with the ability to work collaboratively in a multi professional team.
The service is a private ASD service, which is soon to launch in February 2022.

The Service will be running clinics x2 Saturday a month at the Royal Berkshire Hospital. The patients will be of the age group under 5's. The Speech and Language Therapist will support in performing ADOS-2 assessments for these cohorts of a patient.
