Maxxima have recently partnered with  one of the UK’s specialist provider of diagnostic and healthcare solutions. We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Anaesthetic Practitioner, who can provide overall support for the clinical leadership of the service. This post is based in London, which is easily accessible via public transport.
About the role:
As a Senior Anaesthetic Practitioner, you will provide specialized care during the perioperative period, manage theatres, mentor support staff, and maintain a professional relationship with colleagues.

Your main responsibilities as a Senior Anaesthetic Practitioner:
  • Contribute to practice development and evaluation
  • Mentor support staff and pre-registration students
  • Participate in perioperative care planning and delivery
  • Ensure anaesthetic equipment readiness
  • Support colleagues as needed
  • Maintain compliance with policies and procedures
  • Demonstrate commitment to developing critical analytical skills
  • Organize and plan own work and others
  • Coordinate with other departments for a smooth patient pathway
  • Handle conflict situations
What we are looking for in a Senior Anaesthetic Practitioner:
  • Registered Nurse with postgraduate qualification
  • Registered ODP with cert HE/Diploma
  • Significant post-registration anaesthetic skills
  • Ability to precept newly qualified staff
  • Knowledge of patient confidentiality
  • Motivated and enthusiastic
