Maxxima Nursing Team is currently seeking Band 7 Senior CAMHS Practitioners to fill a full-time role in Stockport. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge and skills as a CAMHS Practitioner

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 3 month booking for a Band 7 Senior CAMHS practitioner posts in Healthy Young Minds (Stockport CAMHS) ending 31st December 2021. Working hours are predominately Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, though there is plenty of opportunity to work flexibly as we are looking to expand our opening hours as part of our service transformation plans.

MAIN DUTIES
  • The main summary of the posts will be responsible for providing high quality mental health assessments and therapeutic interventions for adolescents and families using evidence based interventions.
  • To be responsible for and manage a defined caseload and undertake case management responsibilities within the caseload           
  • Providing consultation, advice and training to a wide range of agencies.
The following key attributions are required:
  • Strong Children and Young Person’s mental health knowledge and experience.
  • Experience of using training, supervision and consultation as a means of helping other professionals to support the mental health of CYP.
  • Good understanding and commitment to the CAMHS transformation agenda.
  • Values that match Pennine Care Foundation NHS Trust and always place CYP and families at the fore of all your practice.
 
This role will be 37 hours a week over 5 days. 9-5 Monday to Friday

The pay rate for this locum Band 7 Senior CAMHS Practitioners job is up £30.00 per hour (Umbrella) due to start ASAP for an initial 3 months.

Requirements of the Band 7 Senior CAMHS Practitioners role:
  • You must be a Registered mental health nurse with a valid NMC Pin.
  • For assessments and holding caseloads, must have mental health experience.
  • You must have experience working with patients suffering mental health issues.
