Job description

Maxxima’s nursing team is currently recruiting for a Band 6 Senior CAMHs practitioner to fill a full-time role in South Cumbria CAMHS, Barrow-in-Furness. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge and skills as a Community Psychiatric Nurse or Registered General Nurse.
 
Your role will be to work across both CAMHS crisis and core CAMHS assessing and working with a caseload of children and young people 0 – 18yrs presenting rather routinely or in crisis with moderate to severe mental health difficulties as part of MDT.
 
This role will be working 37.5 hrs potentially over 7 days between hours 9am-6pm
 
The pay rate for this Senior CAMHs practitioner £24.00 per hour (Umbrella) and is due to start ASAP
 
Requirements of this Band 6 Senior CAMHs practitioner vacancy:
  • You must be a Registered Mental Health Nurse or Registered General Nurse with a valid NMC Pin.
  • You must have experience within CAMHS
  • You must have excellent assessment skills
