Maxxima have recently partnered with one of the UK’s specialist provider of diagnostic and healthcare solutions. We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Medical Scientist - Histology who can provide overall support for the clinical leadership of the service. This post is based in Dublin, which is easily accessible via public transport.

What we are looking for in a Senior Medical Scientist - Histology:
  • 5 years’ experience specifically in a working medical Histology lab
  • CORU Registered with proof of registration
  • Batchelors Degree & Masters’ Degree in Biomedical Science
  • Extensive experience of scientific work in the Histology laboratory, embedding, microtomy (manual and automatic) and routine and special stains, and specifically in Dissection & Cut-Up  
  • A diligent, strong work ethic with the ability to work on your own initiative to ensure an outstanding laboratory service.
  • Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A proven team player who will enjoy working with and supporting a close-knit team of dedicated professionals.
