Maxxima’s Social Work team are currently recruiting for Senior Practitioners to fill job roles in Knowsley, Greater Manchester
The roles will be based within an Adults Team, who are looking for Senior Practitioners to start as soon as possible on a full-time basis. 
The pay rate for this role is up to £34 per hour, and the role will initially be a three-month contract, with the likelihood of extension.
We are looking for experienced Adult Social Workers with experience of working in a busy Statutory service
Senior Practitioner required to work within a Safeguarding Adults Team as part of a Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub. Responsibilities will include screening all safeguarding adult concerns in line with the Care Act 2014. Be able to identify, were there are concerns in relation to allegations of abuse or neglect, if the adult has care and support needs and as a result of these needs unable to safeguard themselves. The post will require experience working within adult social care and demonstrate an ability to undertake Care Act assessments, Mental Capacity assessments and safeguarding adult enquiries. The senior practitioner will be required to safeguard and promote the welfare of adults at risk and their families/carers. Implementing the Making Safeguarding Personal and strengths based approach to safeguarding adults. The senior practitioner will also be required to chair safeguarding strategy meetings and supervise social work staff within the team.
