Job description

The Biomedical Science team at Maxxima are currently recruiting for Band 2 Medical Laboratory Assistant to work in a busy blood transfusion laboratory in Bristol.  We are looking for graduates in the sciences who are willing and able to learn how a lab operates and contribute towards towards its output. Candidates should be happy to work Tuesday to Saturday.

What will you be doing in this Medical Laboratory Assistant role?
As a Medical Laboratory Assistant in Blood Transfusion you will of course be expected to understand the levels of detail needed as part of the operation. You will be operating laboratory equipment to produce blood products that will be delivered to recipients requiring transfusion.

Essential Requirements for this Medical Laboratory Assistant position:
• Previous laboratory or healthcare experience; otherwise a graduate in sciences
• Able to work Tuesday to Saturday
• Right to work full time inthe UK
