Maxxima’s permanent team has a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated, dynamic and experienced Staff Nurse - Inpatient, based in Ashford, Kent.
A Private Hospital Group based in Ashford, Kent is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to work on the Inpatient Ward at its Ashford hospital.
Reporting to the Ward Sister, as a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for the delivery of excellent patient centred care, ensuring consistently high standards are maintained, including:

- collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and
- ensuring compliance in line with national best practice standards
- demonstrating outstanding clinical practice at all times
- plan, implement and deliver holistic patient centred care to your patients
- maintain accurate patient records, utilising the most up to date evidenced based care and guidelines.
Salary: Up to £32.9K dependent on skillset and experience.

Registered Nurse
The role of Registered Nurse will involve providing:
- Pre and post operative care,
- Assessing the needs of the patient,
- Planning, implementing and evaluating programmes of care,
- Carrying out clinical nursing procedures,
- Administering medication, injections, intravenous infusions, and male and female catheterisation;
- Recording and maintaining accurate patient medical records and histories on the relevant IT systems.
- Registered Nurse with NMC
- Clinical nursing experience in acute surgical care
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
- Demonstrable knowledge and skills in the nurses area of clinical practice, including phlebotomy, cannulation, ECGs, epidurals, and intravenous antibiotics
- Sound written, numerical and verbal communication skills
- Sound computer skills using MS Office Suite and web based reporting systems
- Demonstrated customer service skills
- Experience in the private sector
