Maxxima’s permanent team are recruiting for an Surgical Ward Manager based in Cheshire. This is an exciting opportunity to join a private hospital dedicated to delivering world class healthcare, the hospital is packed with start-of-the-art tech to ensure patients get the most accurate diagnosis and treatment.
Working as a Surgical Ward Manager, you will need to have confidence in leading the 8-bedded unit, it’s patients and the staff within. You will be accountable for the standards of clinical care given to our service users as well educating, mentoring and motivating your workforce to continue striving to give the very best care possible.
Location: Cheshire
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time (37.5 Hours)
Hours: Monday - Saturday (Early and Late Shifts on an Internal Rotation)

What will you need to succeed in this role?
- Hold a BSc (or equivalent) in Nursing and hold a current UK NMC registration
- Have a portfolio of relevant CPD
- Expertise in the field of General Surgery/Orthopaedics
- Ability to lead a team through changes in custom and practice
- Mentorship qualification
- Leadership skills
