Job description
Maxxima have recently partnered with one of the UK’s largest specialist provider of diagnostic and healthcare solutions. We are currently looking for an experienced Theatre Manager, who can provide overall support for the clinical leadership of the service. This post is based in London, which is easily accessible via public transport.
About the role:
You will be working in a clinical and service development capacity to ensure the service to patients is planned, delivered and evaluated in line with evidence-based practice. Working closely with the multi-disciplinary team to help create and maintain a robust service.

- Working closely with the Surgical Services manager, you will take responsibility to appropriately manage theatre lists and workforce and to provide strategic and operational direction to build the departmental business; plan new services and introduce new technologies as required.
- Qualified practitioner and current registration with NMC or HCPC
- Previous leadership and influencing skills with the ability to motivate and enthuse individuals/teams
- Proven experience working in a leadership role
- Organisational skills and ability to prioritise and delegate workload effectively and respond to the needs of the department and the hospital
- The ability to set, implement and evaluate standards of practice
- Change management skills
- Excellent IT skills
