Maxxima’s permanent team are recruiting for a Trainee Mammographer based in Surrey. This is an exciting opportunity to join the UK’s largest specialist provider of diagnostic and healthcare solutions and become proficient in the field of Mammography.
Working as a Trainee Mammographer, you will contribute to providing a high-quality Breast Cancer screening service whilst completing your postgraduate course in Mammography.
Location: Guildford
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time (36 Hours)
Hours: Monday - Friday

What’s in it for you?

- Undertake a postgraduate course in Mammography
- Take high quality mammograms and be competent at obtaining additional views of the breast at Assessment Clinics
- Prepare and assist in biopsy procedures including targeting for stereotactic examinations
- Keep up to date with current trends and techniques in mammography and thus be sufficiently well informed to answer queries on breast health and screening.
- Have a BSc in Radiography or equivalent
- Have current HCPC registration
- Be familiar with the Breast Screening computer system, NBSS and can locate previous films on PACS
