Maxxima's Social Work team are currently recruiting for an Assistant Team Manager to fill a full-time job role in Wiltshire

The roles will be based within Children and Families Services, who are looking for a Team Manager to start as soon as possible on a full-time basis. The pay rate for these roles is £38 per hour and the roles will initially be a three-month contract, with the likelihood of extension.

The overall responsibilities of the Family & Children's Support and Safeguarding Service are: * To prevent family breakdown * To prevent children and families needing more intensive statutory services * To deliver an effective family-based and relationship-based approach to enable children and families to achieve positive outcomes * To meet all relevant statutory responsibilities As an Assistant Team Manager, you will be: - Managing and supervising a number of qualified social workers and other staff, as delegated by the manager within the dedicated team. - Supporting the manager to direct, co-ordinate and provide leadership to all staff within the dedicated team - Building upon and supporting the manager to improve effective delivery of the five "Every Child Matters" outcomes for children and families within the dedicated team function. - Deputising for the manager as appropriate during time of absence providing management cover and support to operational arrangements within the dedicated team. There are positions available in the North and East of Wiltshire.
