Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust (HDFT) serves a population of around 720,000 people within Harrogate and the local area, as well as North Yorkshire and Leeds.
It’s the largest provider of public health services for children and young people in England, looking after 500,000 children in the North East in County Durham, Darlington, Middlesbrough, Stockton-on-Tees, Gateshead and Sunderland.
It employs more than 4,000 people and offers a wide range of essential and acute services from its hospitals in Harrogate and Ripon, in addition to its outreach services from community locations.
The trust is proud to be one of only two trusts in Yorkshire and Humber to be awarded the Health Service Journal’s Top 100 Best Places to Work.
