Working as a locum plaster room technician
When you decide to work as a locum orthopaedic practitioner, you’re likely to be able to gain a lot more varied experience in the plaster room sector – as well as being able to control your working hours with much more flexibility than a full-time position would offer.
On top of that there is less cause for you to get involved with work place politics! However, it’s important to note that as a locum, you will be your own boss – meaning you won’t be entitled to company sick pay, maternity/paternity pay and pension schemes.
