Maxxima's nursing team are current recruiting for a Band 3 Healthcare Assistant to fill a full-time role, permanent role in Chertsey, Surrey. The ideal candidate will have a real interested in developing their skills in a private setting, full training and support will be given for the right candidate.

This role will require you to assist and support the multi-disciplinary cardiac team with the day to day operations of the teams Cardiac unit this will embrace some administrative and clerical duties whilst also assisting with the provision and delivery of patient care. You will provide effective communication with patients, their relatives and allied health care teams in a professional manner. You will need to escort patients and perform pre-procedure checks on patients, whilst also identifying and reporting any clinical risks. Maintain stock levels and enter patient data entry whilst also providing support to the team. Support the clinical team by signposting patients to the appropriate healthcare professional or service, working as part of the multidisciplinary team.

You will be expected to work collaboratively with key partners' organisations, patients, carers, clinicians and other practitioners within the multi-disciplinary team in delivering services, supporting the delivery of policy and procedures

This role is a Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00 plus occasional additional hours in the evening.

The pay rate for this Band 3 Healthcare Assistant is starting at £18,000 per annum, with enhancements and an attractive benefits package.

Requirements of this Band 3 Healthcare Assistant vacancy:

- You will ideally have previous experience within busy hospital environment, full training will be given on the cardiac aspects of this role.

- You must have Basic Life Support training or be willing to undertake this.

- You must have excellent communication skills and the ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team.

- Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team.

- Flexible to meet needs of the unit, which may mean the occasional out of hours working.
