Maxxima’s nursing team is currently recruiting for a Band 4 Assistant Practitioner to fill a full-time role in the Out of Hospital Service based in Coventry
In this NHS role, you will work as an Assistant Practitioner within the Out of Hospital Service as a member of an multidisciplinary team.
The postholder will
  • Provide rehabilitation to adults in Coventry with a wide range of conditions under the direction of a team of qualified therapists; in patients current residence, in clinic or other community setting.
  • Assist and lead in the running of group therapy sessions, supporting individualised treatment programmes assessing and reviewing outcome measures and supporting effective service development.
  • In addition to these responsibilities following training and completion of clinical competency document the Assistant Practitioner will be able to deliver delegated therapy assessments and interventions with a level of autonomy equal to their qualification and competency.
This role will be Monday to Friday, 09:00- 17:00.
The pay rate for this Band 4Assistant Practitioner vacancy is £11.00 per hour (Umbrella), due to start in October 2020.
Requirements of this Band 4 Assistant Practitioner vacancy:
  • Foundation Degree in Health and Social Care or an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care related subject
  • Previous experience working as a Rehabilitation technician/therapy assistant or equivalent in a therapeutic environment
  • Experience of working with people with a variety of conditions requiring therapy assessment and treatment
  • Meeting and dealing with people from a variety of backgrounds, cultures and beliefs
