Maxxima’s Nursing Team are currently recruiting for a Band 5 CAMHS practitioner to fill a full time role in Oldham. The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding of working with children and adolescent mental health.
You will be working as part of the Healthy Young Minds (HYM) Oldham Reflections Unit based in the hospital children’s ward. Your role will be working in the assessment team completing assessments and also act as a duty worker doing urgent assessments, providing 3 routine assessments per week. You will be required to complete urgent assessments and assess any children on the children ward with supervision support from management.

The pay rate for this Band 5 CAMHS practitioner is £17.00 PH (Umbrella). The role is starting ASAP, working Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm.

Requirements of this Band 5 CAMHS practitioner vacancy:
  • All applications must be Registered mental health nurse with a valid NMC pin
  • You must have experience of working in CAMHS
  • You must be competent in completing urgent and routine assessments on children
