Maxxima's nursing team are current experienced Band 5 Community Nurse to fill a full time, Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm role in Headington, Oxford. The ideal candidate will have an expert understanding of community nursing practices within the NHS.

In this NHS role you will be required to work as part of an integrated locality team, deliver a range of clinical skills, which are commensurate with the clinical skills required for a Band 5 Community Staff Nurse within the District Nursing service. To manage patient expectation regarding the service, how it operates and the potential to be transferred or discharged. To communicate effectively with clients /carers and colleagues and follow a clear step process; agree treatment goals, maximise rehabilitation potential, to ensure understanding of conditions and treatment. To be accountable for the management, development and supervision of identified staff within the community team.

This role is a Monday to Friday 08:00-16:00 until May, however there is flexibility with the hours.

The pay rate for this Band 5 Community Nurse is £18.00 per hour (Umbrella).

Requirements of this Band 5 Community Nurse vacancy:
- All applicants must be a registered general nurse with valid NMC pin
- You must deliver expert skilled nursing care to patients whose needs are best met in the community including the patient's own home or other care setting.
- To promote optimal levels of independence and well being for patients.
- To work flexibly to meet the needs of the service
- You must be a car driver with access to a vehicle
