Maxxima’s nursing team is currently recruiting for a Band Band 5 Mental Health Nurse to fill a full-time role in Wymondham, Norfolk. The ideal candidate will have knowledge and skills as a Mental Health Nurse
South West adult community team is a community mental health team based in Wymondham at Gateway House.  We support patients in the community living in towns and villages in South Norfolk, for example, Attleborough, Dereham and Watton.  We provide assessment for service users with diagnoses including Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder and Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder.  We have weekly team meetings, monthly Business and Governance meetings and daily FACT (flexible assertive community treatment) meetings, designed to support our more complex patients when needed.  Practitioners also receive monthly line management supervision and expected to organise monthly clinical supervision.  Despite being independent practitioners the team is very supportive and help where they can.
The team are an Adult community Mental Health Team, teams are comprised of Nurses, OT’s, Assistant practitioners and support workers, working alongside Psychiatrists and Psychologists.  Post holders will carry a caseload or be reviewing and managing cases on waiting lists.  The post will involve seeing service users in their own homes and clinic settings. 
This role will be Monday to Friday, 09:00- 17:00.
The pay rate for this Band 5 Mental Health Nurse £17.00 per hour (Umbrella), due to start in November 2020.
Requirements of this Band 5 Mental Health Nurse vacancy:
  • You must be a Registered Mental Health Nurse with a valid NMC Pin.
  • You must have Community experience either during your placement or in your recent roles
  • Would ideally have previous experience of community mental health or have worked for the trust and working knowledge of Lorenzo.
