Maxxima’s nursing team is currently recruiting for a Band 5 Mental Health Nurse to fill a full-time role in the Perinatal Mental Health Service, working on the Kingfisher MBU at Hellesdon Hospital.  The ideal candidate will have an interested in Perinatal mental health.  
The team are looking for a Qualified Band 5 Nurse out of preceptorship with an interest in perinatal mental health. They are offering support and training in this role to develop the nurse in this specialist area.
Based in the MBU, the team offers hospital admissions for women and their babies where a mother is experiencing perinatal mental health problems when treatment cannot be provided at home.
This role will working on a rota basis, to include weekend and night shifts.
The pay rate for this Band 5 mental health nurse role is £17.00 per days, increasing to £26.00 per hour for out of hours (Umbrella), due to start in December 2020

  • You must be a Registered Mental Health Nurse with a valid NMC Pin.
  • You must have an interest in Perinatal mental health
  • You must be able to start this role in December 2020
