Maxxima’s nursing team are currently recruiting for a Band 5 Registered General Nurse to fill a full-time role in Wisbech, Peterborough. The ideal candidates will have a significant understanding of healthcare practices within the NHS.

This NHS role will require you to work on a 16 bed rehab and palliative care ward working alongside Registered Nurses. You will be responsible for 8 patients with support from Health Care Assistants, duties will involve giving medication, wound care, supporting HCA’s with the patients care, and attending weekly MDT meetings. It will be your duty to ensure a high standard of care is always delivered to each patient in your ward.

This role will cover a variety of shifts including early’s, late’s, and night shifts on a rota, hours will be from 30-37.5 a week.

The pay rate for Band 5 Registered General Nurse is £23.00.

Requirements for this Band 5 Registered General Nurse vacancy:
  • You must be a registered general nurse with a valid NMC.
  • Must have rehab experience.
  • Must have ward experience.
  • Must be able to work with other professionals.
  • Ideally, be able to use system 1.
  • Must have a natural acre for others.
