Maxxima's Nursing team are currently recruiting for a Band 5/6 Scrub Nurse to fill a full-time, Monday to Friday, 8am-6pm role in Sheffield. The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding of NHS scrub nursing and theatre practices.

This NHS role would require you to maintain the confidentiality of information regarding children and families. You will provide risk assessments and treatments to the patients and liaise effectively with the multi-disciplinary team. You will communicate with senior nursing staff/senior theatre staff regarding any problems, untoward occurrences or accidents. Main duties will include assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care in line with company values and work practices. You will also be expected to act as a role model delivering care on a nurse-led basis to patients.

The pay rate for this locum Band 5/6 Scrub Nurse role is £17-£23 per hour (Umbrella) and is a full-time 5-month contract, due to start asap.

Requirements and details of this Band 5/6 Scrub Nurse vacancy:

You must be a registered nurse with a valid NMC pin
You must have previous experience as within NHS theatre practices
You must have previous experience working within a multidisciplinary team
