Maxxima's nursing team are current recruiting for a Band 6 Community Mental Health Nurse to fill a full-time role in Haringey, North London. The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding of Mental Health in Older Adults.

In this NHS role, working as a Care Coordinator you will provide effective and timely care within a multidisciplinary team setting for Older People who present with functional and/or organic mental health problems. You must be able to asses care needs, devise care programmes, packages of care including risk assessments and implement and evaluate these in collaboration with individual service users. You must understand and feel comfortable with those suffering with mental health problems such as dementia and know how to effectively help them. You will have a key role in providing on-going care and support to older people with mental health problems including dementia, their carers and relatives and will liaise with colleagues as appropriate.

This role will be Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00.

The pay rate for this Band 6 Care Coordinator is £24.50 per hour (Umbrella), 3-month contract due to start ASAP.

Requirements of this Band 6 Care Coordinator vacancy:
* Must be a registered RMN with the NMC
* Must have experience of working within the community
* Must have a clear understanding of mental health in older adults
* Must be a car driver with access to your own vehicle
