Maxxima’s nursing team is currently recruiting for a Band 6 Clinical Nurse Specialist to fill a full-time role in the Treatment and Recovery Team based in Sheffield.
 
In this NHS role, you will provide specialist assessment and substance misuse interventions to service users of START, including those service users with complex physical and/or mental health problems, and their families and carers (Dual Diagnosis). The team are happy to receive applications from RMNs and RGNs with the right experience.
 
Job Function –
  • Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate specialist interventions and treatments in line with service plans and prioritise on an individual, joint or group basis.
  • Plan, organise and co-ordinate multi-agency activities and care with other professionals and agencies.
  • Work in partnership with service users and agencies to ensure that there is effective communication and liaison about treatment plans across services.
  • The job requires clinical knowledge and experience and willingness to work within a multi-disciplinary integrated team with service users experiencing drug/alcohol problems.
 
This role will be Monday to Friday, 09:00- 17:00.
 
The pay rate for this Band 6 Clinical Nurse Specialist vacancy is £23.00 per hour (Umbrella), due to start in October 2020.
 
Requirements of this Band 6 Clinical Nurse Specialist vacancy:
  • You must be a Registered Nurse with a valid NMC Pin – RMN or RGN
  • Evidence of substantial experience in working with service users with mental health and substance misuse problems.
  • Advanced and developed interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experienced in caseload management.
  • The ability to assess, analyse and interpret complex situations and react accordingly.
  • Specialist clinical skills and knowledge acquired through experience and study.
