We are looking for a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse this friendly adult locality team in Wisbech. The ideal candidate will have an expert understanding of mental health practices within the NHS.

In this NHS role you will be required to work with patients You will be responsible for a caseload of service users who have complex and substantial mental health needs and take on the role of care coordinator for clients and provide leadership support to others to ensure that full assessment of individual care needs are undertaken, the care is planned, implemented and reviewed on a regular basis.

You will have a range of specific clinical and leadership responsibilities. Mainly delivering 4 sessions extended assessment and completing paperwork associated with this. Following completion of these 4 sessions the service users may be discharged or allocated a care coordinator to deliver treatment interventions.

You must work within the community as a member of the MDT ensuring that high quality individualised care is delivered.

The pay rate for this locum Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse role is £23.00 per hour (Umbrella) and is a part-time/full-time on-going contract due to start ASAP.

Requirements of the Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse role:
- You must be a Registered Mental Health Nurse, or Registered Learning Disabilities Nurse with a valid NMC pin
- You must have previous experience working both within the community and inpatient services.
- Up to date knowledge of the mental capacity act.
- Thorough understanding of care planning and the CPA.
- You must have previous experience working within the NHS.
- You must be a driver and have access to your own vehicle.
