Maxxima’s Nursing Team are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse to fill a full-time role in Bury St Edmunds. The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding of mental health and the practices within the NHS.
This older persons team offers a service to adults in later life experiencing organic and functional mental health challenged as well as other age-related complexities. Your role will be to undertake the planning and delivery of direct patient care with minimal supervision, ensuring the continuity of practice and working within a multi-disciplinary team. You will manage a case load and risk assess/screen patients within their care plan.
This role is Monday to Friday, 09:00- 17:00, 37.5 hours a week.
The pay rate for this Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse is £23.00 per hour (Umbrella), a 4-month contract due to start ASAP.
Requirements of this Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse vacancy:
  • All applications must be a registered mental health nurse with Valid NMC pin.
  • You must be able to administer medication
  • Previous experience in the community is preferred
  • You must be a car driver with access to your own vehicle
