Maxxima's nursing team are current recruiting for a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse to fill a full-time role in Oxford. The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding of mental health assessments.

In this NHS role, you will have a caseload who are subject the Care Programme Approach (CPA) framework and you will be expected to carry out interventions to meet their needs and support them to achieve their goals. You will need to motivate them and have excellent communication skills and work well within a multi-disciplinary team. The team is supported by the team manager, the deputy manager and the consultant psychiatrist, and the MDT relies heavily on team work from the full MDT of care co-ordinators, support worker, psychologist and admin team. You will be well supported and receive regular supervision.

This role is Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:00 , 37.5 hours a week.

The pay rate for this Band 6 CPN role is £24.00 per hour (Umbrella). This will be a 3-month contract due to start ASAP.

Requirements of this Band 6 Occupational Therapist or a Community Psychiatric Nurse vacancy:
* All applications must be a registered mental health nurse with Valid NMC pin.
* All applicants must have community mental health experience.
* All applicants must have experience undertaking assessments and providing treatment to adults who have severe and enduring mental illness.
* Must have a full driving licence with access to a car for business use.
