Maxxima's nursing team are current recruiting for a Band 6 Community Mental Health Nurse to fill a full-time role in Barking. The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding of Mental Health and practices within the NHS.

In this NHS role as part of the Early Intervention in Psychosis team, your role will be to build effective relationships with people who use your services, and with their relatives and carers. You will support clients who may be experiencing their first episode of psychosis. You will need to form trusting relationships quickly, to help individuals understand their situation and get the best possible outcome. You will need to monitor both compliance and assessments due to mental health problems and feel comfortable when doing so. You will also need to manage cases under CPA. This service is partnered with the Trust's CAMHS service.

This role is a Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00.

The pay rate for this Band 6 Community Mental Health Nurse is £24.00 per hour (Umbrella), 3-month contract due to start ASAP.

Requirements of this Band 6 Mental Health Nurse vacancy:
* All applications must be a registered mental health nurse with Valid NMC pin.
* All applicants must have community mental health experience.
* All applicants must have experience undertaking assessments and providing treatment to adults who have severe and enduring mental illness.
* Previous NHS experience is desirable
