Maxxima Nursing Team is currently seeking an experienced Band 6 Health Visitor to fill a part-time role based in Barnet, North London. You will be required to work 3 days per week covering 28 hours, working hours are 9 am - 5pm. The ideal candidate will have an expert understanding of Health Visiting in the NHS.

The pay rate for this locum Band 6 Health Visitor job is £26.00 per hour (Umbrella) and is an ongoing contract due to start ASAP.

This role will require you to promote good health and prevent ill health in children, families, and communities. You will be responsible to do this through raising awareness of and identifying unmet health needs and initiating, developing, implementing and evaluating plans of care. Your role will be to manage and priorities resources/caseload through the assessment and planning of services in order to offer efficient needs-led service.

Requirements of the Band 6 Health Visitor role:
- You must be a Registered General nurse with a Health Visiting qualification
- You must have experience working with children and their families
- You must be trained in System One
- You must have previous Health Visiting experience
- You must feel confident in safeguarding children
- Must have a driving licence
- Must be able to complete HR1 and HR2 Development reviews
- Must be able to handle a duty desk in the single point of access in the HUB
