Maxxima's nursing team are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Learning Disability Nurse to fill a full-time role in South Cambridgeshire. The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding of learning disabilities and the specialist nursing practices within the NHS.

In this NHS role, you will contribute to the planning, development and evaluation of learning disability services, including contributing to defined projects as delegated by the LDP management team via the Lead Nurse. You will need to manage a specialist case load providing assessments, identification and treatment of the health needs of adults with a learning disability.

This role is Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:00, 37.5 hours a week.

The pay rate for this Band 6 Learning Disability Nurse is £23.00 per hour (Umbrella). This will be a 3-month contract due to start ASAP.

Requirements for this Band 6 Learning Disability Community Nurse vacancy:
* All applications must be a registered Learning Disability nurse with Valid NMC pin.
* All applicants must have community Learning Disability experience.
* Must have strong communication skills.
* Must have previous experience working with learning disabilities.
